Employer-Based Child Care Design Lab 2.0

The Colorado Department of Early Childhood (CDEC) has partnered with Executives Partnering to Invest in Children (EPIC) for an Employer-Based Child Care Design Lab 2.0 to support employers and community partnerships wanting to learn about the creation of on-site or near-site child care programs. Employers including for-profit, non-profit, and government entities are all welcome to participate. The 2022 legislation (Senate Bill 213) expanded the Employer-Based Child Care Facility Grant Program to include $10 million dollars of federal funding with a spending deadline of 2024.

Quality Improvement Incentive

Programs that increase their Colorado Shines quality rating from a Level 1 to a Level 2 or from a Level 2 to Level 3-5 can apply for this bonus payment.

CCCAP Rate Increases

Providers with an active CCCAP Fiscal Agreement will automatically receive an increased daily reimbursement rate through the existing reimbursement process.

FREE SCHOLARSHIPS AND ECE COURSEWORK

The CDA is the most widely recognized credential in early childhood education and helps professionals advance their careers. Scholarships are available for both new CDA candidates and renewal candidates.
